Greenhill Pharmacy will display a panel from the NAMES Project: AIDS Memorial Quilt. Weighing 54 tons and composed of more than 48,000 panels the quilt is dedicated to more than 94,000 individuals, The AIDS Memorial Quilt is the premier symbol of the AIDS pandemic and is the largest ongoing piece of community folk art in the world. HIV specialist, Joe Scarborough will be on hand to answer questions about the 35 year history of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. For more information on the AIDS quilt, please visit www.aidsquilt.org

The school of nursing will display posters and the Governor’s proclamation for Grief Awareness Week. The school of nursing will present a 5 hour lecture on grief and loss.

Graham Cancer and Research Institute has a collection of resources that can support those who are grieving and/or facing end of life. Librarians are available to assist with special topic request.
